Contractors band together against American Home Shield

Hello: I am a HVAC contractor that has been in business for over 10 yrs. My company has done work for American home shield for the past five years . In the past five years their contracts have changed many times and the HVAC contractor we have taken a loss every year. As a preferred contractor your promised a volume of calls that you never receive . Then came along their flat rate program in wich they pay you 195.00 to 225.00 per call and you have to supply the equipment. This means that if you go to a homeowners residence and diagnosed a bad condenser coil and the coil is no longer available , you as the AHS contractor are responsible for replacing the condenser for 195 to 225 dollars when the condenser costs you anywhere from 700.00 t0 1500.00 dollars and on top of that with the 13 seer issue you will also have to replace the air handler or furnace this adds up to around 2700.00 in labor and materials for a 2 ton system . You are only going to get paid 195 to 225 Dollars from AHS to do the job . This leads us to another problem AHS does not cover upgrades to the system such as county or city codes these costs are in turn passed on to the home owner and the homeowner is not happy about that witch in turn makes your company look bad . Lets Band Together as HVAC Contractors out of fairness to our self's and our customers and demand better. AHS is passing their many class action law suites back on to us and in turn back on to the homeowners. Its time to take a stand we need to band together and get AHS to change their policy's or we will no longer provide services for them . My company has hired an attorney in reference to filing a class action suite against AHS . We are looking for other contractors who have had problems with AHS. I am interested in your thoughts on this subject. Thank You. Your HVAC Contractor that cares about its home owners. Please view this link http://www.syix.com/emu/html/ahs.html
